- ARRGH! I'm a 44 year old American-Israeli. I made aliyah in 1983 and lived in Israel for several years during the 1980's. Became a kibbutznik, became a farmer, became a citizen, they drafted me, and then I became a soldier. Served in the IDF (where I met my future spouse) for 2 and a half years. Returned to the States in 1989. ARRGH! In 1997, in need of a good serving wench, I bought my first computer, went on-line, performed an e-mail search for the bonny lass who had so captivated me during my service. I found her. In 1999, I flew to Israel, fired my broadsides and scaled her rigging, and married Michal. We currently live in Van Nuys, California with our son, Gidon. I run an engraving business while Michal teaches biology at a local high school.
